To the Manor Reborn featuring Earthborn launches BBC One

Our previous post eluded to the fact that Earthborn had been specified for the BBC One Restoration series on Avebury Manor,  which was originally used for the filming of sitcom 'To the Manor Born' starring Penelope Keith. Russell Sage the interior designer on the series chose Earthborn paints due to their breathability and appearance as well as tachnical suitability.

Earthborn has have been working with the architects and contractors throughout the summer to achieve the successful restoration of this important National Trust property. The restoration was filmed by the BBC and 900 hours of filming have been condensed into four, one hour programmes to be broadcast over the next four weeks.

The decoration was an important element of the restoration and viewers will hopefully see Earthborn paints featuring as the story and series unfolds. The Queen Anne Suite and the Tudor Bed Chamber ceiling feature our paints. We are very proud to have been involved in the project.
